The Trip

One day after a storm (not that good) four sailors set sail to Fiji. I don’t think that they would make it  if some one on the ship did not have some expertise on a ship. So lucky that there was some one on the ship that could fix things on the ship and drive it with communication skills so if they got in trouble they could contact help. The owner of the ship was putting their things on the ship. One of the people on the ship said to him if he wanted to come to Fiji and so he said yes. So off they went thinking they were heading to paradise… they left Auckland for Fiji. The first day was nice and calm in NZ waters and the second day the water had 1 meter swells, it was a bit rough. The third day on the ship was the most horrible of all. They were IN THE WORST STORM EVER recorded. They contacted help but their radio got badly damaged in the storm and their transponder got ripped off the top off the ship so lost contact from the coastguard and disappeared off the radar. They did not turn  back. The 4th day was a bit choppy and  were really tired because they hardly got to sleep. The 5th and 6th day was a bit choppy coming  in to the Fiji’s water. On the last day it was nice and calm,no waves in Fiji waters coming in to dock they were jumping in to the water and having a swim. Then the 18 year old boy who saved them from capsizing and fixed the automatic steering system got killed in a car crash and they couldn’t have done it without him.
